Privacy Policy
Hi! I'm Dominik, and I run DG Studio AS from Bodø, Norway. I build online tools, do consulting, and share updates with people who've signed up to hear from me. Here's how I handle your personal info:
1. Who I am
Company name: DG Studio AS · Org nr. 932900874
Address: Smørbukkveien 15, 8028 Bodø, Norway
Email: dominik.gmeiner[at]gmail.com
If you ever have questions about your data, just reach out.
2. What I collect
- Your name and email (when you sign up for updates on Substack or Kit.com)
- Recordings or notes from live sessions (if we work together)
- Basic data from tools I use (like IP address or email opens, depending on the platform)
I don't collect sensitive personal info, and I don't collect info from kids.
3. Why I collect it
I use your info to:
- Send you emails or updates (only if you've signed up)
- Work with you if you're a client or research participant
- Improve what I offer
I only collect data if you gave me permission, we have a contract, or it helps me run my business without hurting your privacy.
4. Where I store it
I use tools like Google Drive, Apple iCloud, Substack, and Kit.com. These are secure services. Some store data outside Norway or the EU (like in the U.S.), but they follow strict rules to keep it safe.
This website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, it handles every visit and keeps short-lived server logs, including your IP address, to deliver the site and keep it secure. The fonts are served from this site, not from Google.
5. Your rights
- Ask what data I have about you
- Ask me to fix or delete your info
- Unsubscribe from emails any time
- Complain to Datatilsynet (Norway's data authority) if you're worried
Just send me an email. I'll help.
6. How long I keep data
Newsletter data stays until you unsubscribe. Client and research data is deleted after our project ends, unless we agree otherwise.
7. Cookies and tracking
My website doesn't use cookies or tracking tools of its own. Two things to know:
- The mixtape player is SoundCloud's. Nothing from SoundCloud loads until you press play. Once you do, SoundCloud receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under SoundCloud's privacy policy.
- The player remembers which tape you last played, and where you were, in your browser's local storage, so it can pick up where you left off. That stays on your device and never reaches me. Ejecting the tape clears it.
If I add analytics or anything else that tracks visits, I'll update this section first.
8. Changes to this policy
If I update this policy, I'll let you know. The latest version will always be linked in my emails or on my website.
